Shame on the Catholic Church

A Catholic Church service was held in Dublin recently in which several victims of the Catholic Priest child abuse scandal allowed their feet to be washed in a ceremony of forgiveness.
Well, that’s alright then. Problem solved. WTF. Do they honestly believe this bullshit ceremony has closed the door on this atrocious coverup?
They know the secular world is on to them so they come up with this charade.
Is it just me or does this appear to anyone else as an acknowledgement of guilt?
At the risk of asking a rhetorical question, what the fuck are the authorities going to do about it now?
