Always do the 'Snopes' test

If you are like me you are forever getting emails about weird, wonderful and sometimes horrific and downright racist claims that are reported as fact.  In the past, these have included the parking attendant at Bristol Zoo who, unbeknown to the council or the Zoo's management, had been collecting car parking fees for the last 25 years and only came to the attention of both parties when he upped and left the UK with £7 million in his back pocket.  Others, not so amusing have included the boy who was underwent sharia punishment by a truck driving over his arm.
However, just doing a simple search using Snopes or Urban Legends will show that April Fool's Day has come around sooner than expected. Don't fall into the trap of passing on these emails.  Be a sceptic, always do the Snopes test.
